This small family estate in Piemonte is steeped in tradition. Milena and Aldo began the winery in 1972, producing small quantities from vineyards planted by Aldo’s father in 1947. Today, the family continues loving land and passionately cultivates 100 acres of vine under the care of third generation Guiseppe Vajra. This wine is the purest expression of Nebbiolo. Dark fruit, spice, earthy notes and a good bit of tannin. A powerful feel and quite a bit more seriousness than is typical at this level. Sweet redberry fruit, mint and spice add freshness alongside bright acidity. This is such a pretty and elegant wine that is simply irresistible!
