Salvatore Ferragamo, grandson of the famed fashion legend, is the farmer of the family. Borrigiano is the first wine from Il Borro winery under the designation “Valdarno di Sopra DOC” and with the Organic certification. This is a true Tuscan blend of Sangiovese, Syrah, and Merlot. The wine matures in large wooden casks for 10 months. The bouquet is intense, with notes of fresh red cherry and a hint of spice. The taste is pleasantly fresh, with soft tannins and a lively fruity end leaving a clean harmonious mouth feeling. Elegantly structured wine.
