Acclaimed French winemaker Laurent Montalieu’s new project gets its name “Umami” from the savory mushrooms that grow all around the vineyards. He produced and bottled this 100% Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley. It’s delicious with aromas of cream, almond, and citrus. Dry, and crisp with lemon, apple and pear notes on the palate.
